David Zezza

David Zezza is a founding member of Pacific Advantage Capital and is involved with the group’s activities in the US, Europe, and Asia.  Mr Zezza co-founded PAC in 2010 after his time at Citadel Investment Group based in Chicago and London, where as a Senior Managing Director he oversaw the firm’s Global Rates and Emerging Markets businesses. Prior to Citadel, Mr Zezza was with Deutsche Bank in London, Hong Kong, and Singapore where he was a member of the Management Committee and Global Head of Emerging Markets for the firm. Prior to Deutsche Bank, Mr Zezza spent 10 years at Salomon Brothers in the US and Asia. 

Mr Zezza is a member of the UK Board of Trustees for the Global Fund for Children. He also serves on the Board of Advisors of the Sanford School at Duke University. Mr Zezza received an AB from Duke University in Economics and Public Policy Studies, graduating Magna Cum Laude.

Tom Metz

Tom Metz has more than 30 years of diverse financial management and administrative experience. As senior vice president/treasurer of Leasetec Corporation, which provided financing for technology equipment, Mr. Metz oversaw all financial and administrative functions as it grew from 15 employees (when Mr. Metz joined) to 350 employees in 22 countries. Annual new equipment financings rose to $1 billion annually.  Leasetec was acquired by KeyCorp in 1997, then the 11th largest US bank. Prior to joining Leasetec, Mr. Metz worked for Marriott Corporation, Satellite Business Systems (an IBM/Aetna/Comsat joint venture) and Georgetown University. He currently supports privately-held Union Business Leasing in the areas of financial analysis and transaction structuring. He is an active investor in emerging companies and serves on various for profit/nonprofit advisory boards and boards of directors. He served on the Boards of Boulder Community Health for a total of 15 years. Mr. Metz received a BBA and MBA from the George Washington University, serving as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and University Teaching Fellow.

Phil Devlin 

Phil Devlin has worked in the medical device industry for over 30 years with experience in general management, sales, marketing, corporate strategy, business development, clinical research, regulatory, research, product development, and operations. He has successfully grown several start-up medical ventures, including Aspect Medical, a $100 million global public company that was acquired by Covidien in 2009.   While at Covidien/Medtronic, Mr. Devlin was general manager of two business units, Anesthetic Effect Monitoring  ‘BIS’ and Sustainable Technologies.  Additionally, he was responsible for M&A for the Respiratory and Monitoring Solutions business unit. He has led numerous M&A transactions on buy/sell side totaling over $1B invested.

He is currently the Chief Business Officer and Senior Vice President, New Ventures for Triple Ring Technologies, Inc. of Newark, CA, responsible for corporate strategy, corporate development, and management of the company’s incubation business, Agility Labs. Mr. Devlin received his BS and MS degrees in electrical engineering from Northeastern University.  He is the author of numerous publications and is an inventor on more than 15 US patents.
