Below is a list of advisors to Flashback Technologies:

  • Paul Dryden (ProMedic) - FDA and Regulatory Support
Mr. Dryden has been in the medical device industry since 1975. He was President of Dryden Corporation,Indianapolis, IN, an anesthesia / respiratory disposable manufacturer until it was sold to Louis Gibeck AB in 1988. He remained as President and then left to form ProMedic in 1992. Mr.Dryden has a BS from Purdue University, West Lafayette, IN, and an MBA from Butler University,Indianapolis, IN. He has been active in a number of medical device associations and is active in the ASTM / AAMI standards committees for anesthesia / respiratory devices. He currently serves on a number of company Boards and serves as a senior advisor for several clients.

Dr. Moulton received his undergraduate and doctoral degrees from the University of Washington. He trained in general surgery at the University of California, San Diego and in Pediatric Surgery at the State University of New York, Brooklyn.  He is board certified in General and Pediatric Surgery.  He has authored or co-authored more than 75 peer-reviewed articles and 15 book chapters.   Dr. Moulton is the State of Colorado Vice-Chair for the American College of Surgeons, Committee on Trauma (ACS COT). His research efforts span the fields of trauma and burn care, resuscitation and hemodynamic monitoring.  He is an inventor on two issued US patents, one European patent and 12 pending US/European patents.
  • Phil Devlin - Medical device technologist and industry executive
Phil Devlin has worked in the medical device industry for over 30 years with experience in general management, sales, marketing, corporate strategy, business development, clinical research, regulatory, research, product development, and operations. He has successfully grown several start-up medical ventures, including Aspect Medical, a $100 million global public company that was acquired by Covidien in 2009.   While at Covidien/Medtronic, Mr. Devlin was general manager of two business units, Anesthetic Effect Monitoring  ‘BIS’ and Sustainable Technologies.  Additionally, he was responsible for M&A for the Respiratory and Monitoring Solutions business unit. He has led numerous M&A transactions on buy/sell side totaling over $1B invested.

He is currently the Chief Business Officer and Senior Vice President, New Ventures for Triple Ring Technologies, Inc. of Newark, CA, responsible for corporate strategy, corporate development, and management of the company’s incubation business, Agility Labs. Mr. Devlin received his BS and MS degrees in electrical engineering from Northeastern University.  He is the author of numerous publications and is an inventor on more than 15 US patents.
